Anxiety Strikes Again

Dear Husband,

You put so much time and effort into all that you do, working tirelessly into the night.  Many mornings I wake up, only to hear your breath and practically every thought that is buzzing through your head.  I often worry that this obsession of sorts is taking a toll on you and your normally self-assured spirit.  

Forgive me for this cryptic message, but only you and I understand fully the things I am writing about.  This has been a tough week, but just know that this is just part of the crazy journey that we call life.  Oftentimes what may seem difficult to understand or communicate has been in front of us the entire time.  I think this project is actually a part of something greater, and has been an opportunity  for you to dig deep inside yourself, seeking out what makes YOU tick as well as develop the next big thing.  

While I wish this letter would be the missing ingredient, and all your dreams would instantly come true, all I can give you is my hope and trust in that someday things will happen how you want.  I just know it.

In closing, here's my recipe for success.  Take it however you'd like.

  1. Stretch everyday, and not just your body, but your mind, your expectations, your imagination.  I'll give your back rubs too, of course...
  2. Don't be afraid to fail.  "You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success.  But it isn't at all.  You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it." -Thomas J. WatsonDesire.  
  3. Tend to the burning desire to see your goal realized.Change your mindset.  Every time a doubt or fear surfaces, remind yourself that everything you've wanted to create is absolutely possible.  Say this over and over again.
  4. Take small steps.  Rome wasn't built in a day, and your ideas will not come to fruition overnight.  
  5. Ask questions.  You will never find out about your audience unless you engage them.  Be nosy, ask questions, learn about people as this will build your focus.
  6. Last but certainly not least, eat servings of veggies everyday and drink lots of water. Your digestive systems needs some love as well as your mind :)
